Ms. Battista is easily one of the most intelligent and well-read English teachers in the school. She does give a lot of work, but it helps in understanding the books on a higher level of thinking. She treats us as her equals and she's incredibly compassionate. Ms. Battista is definitely one of my favorite, and most helpful, teachers. After losing hope with teachers that perhaps knew less than I, she revived my passion for writing and literature.
