Can be occasionally vague on essays but not nearly as much as some past English teachers of mine. Very intelligent teacher who often hides it with humor (intelligent humor). Don't take his AP Language if you don't want to write papers, duh. I agree with the easy B, tough A comment.

he is incredibly narrow minded and subjective. he is very arrogant and thinks he is the end all be all on English. DO NOT TAKE AP LANGUAGE IF HE IS THE TEACHER

VERY tough A. He seems to be well liked by most of his students, i am not one of them. he is too sarcastic and no matter how hard i tried i could never do well on his essays. He is very unclear when it comes to his essays and i seriously feel like i will fail the AP exam because of him.

Mr. Abell's pretty cool. Helped me get a 4 on the ap exam and test out of college english! Yesss. Easy B, hard to get an A.
