Best teacher I've ever had. Sure, he's tough, but if you can excel in his class then other "hard" classes are really just a piece of cake. His tests are hard, but they actually make you think and get to the root of what you're learning. Very knowledgeable and helpful, too. He doesn't just teach out of the book and try to avoid answering questions that he thinks it's too hard for us to understand. He actually cares a great deal about the topic he's teaching and the progress of his students.

He may know the subject, but he doesn't know how to gain respect from his students. He's extremely rude and inconsiderate. He "doesn't believe in true or false, matching, fill in the blank tests." So all of his tests are short answers, which is the worst kind of test for biology. He also claims that he doesn't want to "change our beliefs" even though he shoves vegetarianism down our throats. And he once spent 20 minutes telling us how stupid we are. Cool, right?

His class was very hard. It was interesting, but I felt like his tests were too hard. He tried to generate poor grades. If you take his class, you need to be prepared to get Cs and Ds on tests.

Incredible teacher, and I learned more science in that class than the other three years combined. However, as a person, he cares nothing for his students and fellow teachers, and intentionally trashes
