I loved Popkin! He was funny and treated his students well, like he respected your opinion. He used to let us listen to music while we worked sometimes, and we would have us try to guess the song/artist that was playing. You were always invited to come sit in on his class if you had a free period or something. Class was challenging, he expects a lot from his students, but he's fair and laid back and knows what he's talking about. I always really liked his class.

Popkin is a good teacher, I suppose, but he always seems to disapprove of everything we do in class. AP US is a very hard class, and I have not gotten above an 80 on any of the tests without corrections.

He is such a good teacher. I love that he does everything on moodle; it's sooo easy. He explains history very well and makes us THINK about why something is the way it is. Wonderful teacher and funny.
