When I was about four years old I went to a really neat old farm house and got to play with some rabbits. Fast forward ten years and I am having conversation with my guitar teacher and we were talking about someone that we knew in common from times past. Mr. Hudson got a strange look on his face and said "it was you". I was the girl who played with his rabbits. He was a great teacher and told awesome stories. If you read this Mr. H, Ayme BuShea turned out ok.
Hudson was my guitar and orchestra teacher at Redland Middle School from '89-'92. he recognized my passion for music and helped mold me into a musician. i never got to properly thank him for that. i'm 34 now and still a musician, playing guitar in experimental rock bands, but i'll never forget him driving me to orchestra functions in his station wagon. he's a great man that's obviously touched many lives. he also taught me the importance of a beard. THANKS HUDSON!!!
There are no words to describe Hudson. It's not possible. He's just too great. His class is so slack, his orchestras are awesome, and he's super approachable.
I wanted to take an opportunity share my opinion in regards to Mr. Hudson..He was my teacher from 1981-1983.Judging from what I had recently stumbled across on line, he is still the approachable, caring and enthusiastic human being...not just teacher..HUMAN BEING, he was when I had him 30 thirty years ago. During a bad period in my life, Mr. Hudson made me want to come to school. I told him this in the past...Not sure he really understood the totality-I was lucky to have had him.
Mr. Hudson is one of the few great teachers and the four years in his orchestra were some of the most enriching of my life. His is a refreshing personality to find at a school like Coral Reef: rebellious, outspoken, and a tad subversive. More than an excellent teacher, he is a stern lecturer, an avid storyteller, a rave enthusiast, an intellectual, and an inspiring mentor and friend, whether or not he admits to any of it. I can't say enough, and I definitely can't say too much.
He provided some of my best orchestral experiences ever. He's awesome and a great person and teacher.
Hudson is the best teacher you'll ever have. An amazing human being and he'll change your life in so many ways. Love this guy.
Im not his student, but he teaches me some stuff anyways , great guy , and when im in his class hes very dedicated to his students and music itself
