Great teacher, donuts every friday. However he is kind of confusing and doesn't answer a bunch of questions but the class is really fun.
Probably the greatest human being ever to roam the earth, by a substantial margin. If I had to hazard a guess, though, he is actually some sort of superhuman, transcendent, godlike being that has existed as an English teacher, unbeknownst to the rest of the world, since the beginning of time, and will continue to do so forever.
Hail out lord and savior Albert J. DeFazio III!
May you continue to spread your glorious knowledge throughout the human species until the very end.
Mr. Defazio is a very funny and smart man. He often makes quips about students and can answer probably any question about English. The only problem is that he is an extremely hard essay grader, and his quizzes are all based on memorizing small little details. Also, he does not use the normal organization method that our school uses and his grading is very confusing - never says exactly what is wrong (all he does is highlight problems and parts of the rubric).
Every class is very funny, although this can often come at the expense of a few students who he constantly makes jokes about. Nonetheless, he is extremely knowledgable, with a large library of books behind his desk that he is always bringing out, and many stories to tell. The assignments are fairly difficult, but he tells you exactly what's due at the beginning of every quarter, and completely avoids "busy-work."
A lot of kids didn't like him that much, but I have to say that I really liked him. I was able to pass two of his classes with A's even when I got C's on all his multiple choice questions. He's extremely knowledgeable and his class is probably one of the most interesting ones I've had. He's really interested in building the knowledge base of his students
What a strange man. If you're on his good side, you can goof around in class as long as you're not loud. If you're on his bad side, get ready to be publicly humiliated and get a lot of stern looks and lectures. He has an obsession with Jennifer Lawrence and an even bigger obsession with Hemingway.
He is perhaps one of the wisest teachers I have ever met. Though he does go on tangents, they are always about useful pieces of information or advice. His class is semi-challenging but if your willing to put forth the effort you can do very well with very few issues. He is very tech-savy for his age, and knows what is important to the modern classroom.
He made English easier for me and could already figure out where I had been going wrong. He is very clear about his expectations, so it's not hard to get an A. However, his comments aren't very thorough.
Ok teacher. Has a weird obsession with Jennifer Lawrence. Grading is arbitrary, if it isn't an 85. Funny classes every time, and we get off topic a lot. He has antifreeze in his feet, and loves double denim. Stay on his good side and you get 100's.
he is so nice! he always brings donuts to the class and is always in a good mood and does get off topic easily, but he is also a very good teacher. he's overall an outgoing teacher that everyone loves!
He's pretty cool, gets off topic a lot which keeps the mood good. He enjoys seeing us work though, by giving us random essays and what not. He's also really funny and knows how to take a joke.
Overeducated, pretentious, overly enthusiastic about his subject matter. Very arbitrary grading.
He's hard, but he's fair. He's also a very cool person to talk to, despite his complete lack of knowledge regarding math and science. Lectures are interesting, but he is often unclear regarding essays
Difficult teacher but his class is hilarious and fun everyday.
