Ms. Levine's class should be avoided. Very nice person, but very weak teacher. Plan on getting a tutor. Most frustrating part was her tests, where she would admit after the exam that she makes mistakes on the test problems so they cannot be solved! On 5 of 7 tests, she had to throw out her own questions, because they were incorrectly written by her. When you hit one of these test questions, you spend tons of time on it attempting to solve it, and then rush the rest of the test. AVOID!
Once I got to know her (I had no choice because I was almost failing second semester) I found she was really nice and willing to help, but if you don't have time, you're in the dark. Her teaching in class could be better. Doing her homework is an easy task but the problems were easier than the actual tests, not fair preparation.
Our class B1 and my friend's class B4 had to do a quest about Gases. The average score for the two classes was 60-70%, it was terrible. Everyone was so scared, people grades were dropping faster than the acceleration of gravity. Everyone was asking for a curve. But it took some other teachers to convince Ms. Levine to give both classes a curve. Finally she gave us a curve, but it didn't help much. Finals are coming soon. Overall most of us don't clearly know the concepts, due to teaching style.
She's honestly the nicest person, but not the greatest teacher. The problem sets absolutely do not reflect the tests. The tests are much harder, and she expects a lot from each of her students. Just make sure to study a ton and go in for AC lab, you definitely have to understand everything 110%.
Sweet young lady. But her tests = THE ULTIMATE BUKAKE
She's a very nice woman but it's difficult to understand what she's teaching sometimes. Overall she's ok, though.
She was the worst chemistry teacher ever. I have been turned off from science ever since last year. Thank god she got out of chemistry!
Confused and annoying. Since I was five, chemistry had enthralled me, I own like 30 chemistry sets. This lady taught me one thing, to hate chemistry...honestly
