Going into her class, I expected her to hate athlete's and be very rude. But this year I'd say she was very helpful and nice. She has a lot of passion for work, which makes it more fun to learn. Was very pleased with her CST class, and would recommend if you need a religion to take.
Overall, Ms. Armstrong is a great teacher who is hardworking, dedicated, and often fails to receive enough recognition. Rather than standing in front of the class lecturing for 85 mins, she incorporates detailed and organized PPTs, google docs, Digoo lists, videos, and hmwrk assignments. As I graduate this year I can only hope that she continues as an inspiring teacher and that her future students may see how brilliant, caring, and committed she is to her work.
Ms. Armstrong is always prepared with unit syllabi, handouts, pre-trimmed videos, and resources like Digoo Lists, all of which supplement our understanding of the information she lectures about in class. Not having been a very active member in my community, the knowledge I acquired in her classes has changed me in that I now seek to make a difference in my community in regards to the problems it faces today. I hope that others can see how knowledgeable and fun of a teacher she is for themselves!
I had Ms. Armstrong for Major Religions and Catholic Social Teaching, both of which she made extremely fun and informative classes. Her approach to teaching not only made the information easy to comprehend, but also made the class a pleasant experience overall. Her homework assignments were extremely beneficial to my understanding of the material being covered and really prepared me for assessments.
Ms. Armstrong has favorites an does not grade fairly. Her teaching methods are alright, nothing too fascinating.
I'm so thankful to have had Armstrong as a teacher! She was so helpful to me even though I'm not really an active speaker and I'm not really that social. Her assignments are easy to understand and if you have a hard time with something she knows how to empathize and help you out (and plus she doesn't need books she knows her stuff). She's really flexible and has really changed my perspective on a lot of issues surrounding the community. Be open and you'll be surprised how much you'll learn.
Ms. Armstrong is one of the nicest people I've ever met, she doesn't need textbooks to teach because she is so knowledgable on the subjects that she is able to really introduce the curriculum in an easy to grasp way and really bring the experience aspect of learning back into the classroom.
Ms. Armstrong likes people that participate and listen, that's all that really needs to be done. Based on experience she is very easy going and creative.
very passionate, but has the ability to annoy students with huge expectations. with those who share her passion, she is incredible
She's brilliant and one of the best teachers I've had. People complain because they want theology to be easy. She has innovative assignments and makes theology actually mean something at Moreau.
The problem is she teaches theology, which is mandatory. She has to struggle to engage students who don't really care. But her passion for teaching the topics is so clear. I loved her class.
She is really into teaching about Religion. I think that makes it more fun and interesting when a teacher enjoys what they teach.
she is a good teacher, i give her credit for being so into peace and conflict, but i feel that you judged me too early and that affected my thoughts about you, so don't judge someone on the first day!
Ms. Armstrong is a very nice teacher. Anyone who hates her must be really close minded.
Good person but _very_ unorganized teacher. Teacher's expectations are not clearly stated, not clear whatsoever. Nearly impossible to get an A. Has favorites.
Ms. Armstrong is cool! She is never realy serious. She likes to joke around during class. She is sort of a hard-core environment person though. But who cares!
one of the best teachers at moreau, she really cares about the earth
me. armstrong is very unorganized, which doesn't make for a helpful teacher. se is a good person but maybe teaching isn't for her.
since when is caring about the environment a bad thing? i commend ms. armstrong for being so KEWL and teaching us how to be kewl too.
not cool, she is unorganised, does not use effective teaching methods, and is a hardcore environmentalist (in a bad way)
