She is by far, the most caring, knowledgable, helpful, and devoted teacher I know at Newark Academy. I've been her student for about 3 years so far and she has inspired me so much as teacher. She picks incredible music and I have so much fun watching, listening, and playing with very talented older musicians. It's really typical of Ms. E really going beyond to inspire all of her students. Ms. E, if you are reading this, you really transformed me in my middle school years and THANK YOU.

She is not the best teacher. She inspires students to stop playing their instrument. I have particularly had a bad experience with Mrs E. She is a mean teacher. A lot of kids in my grade quit band because of Mrs E.

Greatest music teacher I have ever had. Any time I would doubt myself as a muscian, she would help me think otherwise. Without her, I would not be where I am today.

If she did not talk so much before class then it would be better. Also she should make sectionals only for kids who don't practice and need the help.

if you forget your instrument or don't come to sectionals, theres no surviving that class, no matter how good at your instrument you are. (and its just middle school band, not the world symphony)

She is a great teacher. She DESERVINGLY yells at the freshman who bring the class down, both in musical quality and in maturity. Good Job, Keep it up. The pencils are great, try class before them.

She plays favorites and can be very demanding, especially of string players. She also has frequent mood swings... She needs to realize music is not taken seriously by many students in her classes.

WOW! I have never met a musician as caring as her and as willing to go out of her way to do the best for her students. She builds talent and enthusicasm and retains the level of musicality now-musicia

Woman could you STOP TALKING??? I mean really, the reason no one records you is because a 35-day videotape hasnt been invented yet. Good idea with the magnetic pencils, now how about magnetic pillows?
