Really nice person but CANNOT teach. She leaves out large parts of what u are learning when she teaches and spends 30 min of class reviewing homework. The last 10 min are an "attempt" to teach us the material. Your a nice person but not a great math teacher
She is a very nice person, but not the best math teacher. She gives homework problems she hasn't taught in class yet, and takes so long reviewing the homework that she barely gets to the next day's lesson. She does do very well if you ask for extra help out of class. She answers questions well and helps students figure out where theu made a mistake.
Awful math teacher, nice person but can not teach math very well. I have to teach it all to myself. She also expects the stupidest things of us! But overall her class is really not that easy. I did not start studying till after Christmas.
Bad teacher. Only time I learn EVER is if I stay after class. Merciless too. Entire class had a D-F average on a test and she didn't curve it, instead did a half assed reteach
She clearly explains everything and answers every question. She is willing to give us extra time to finish a test , I also love the partial credit ojn tests!
she is really great. always smiling and understands that im not cool with math exactly after having mrs.miller last year. she explains things clearly and doesnt get upset.ever.I like her alot.
The greatest math teacher at HHS. A great personality and a wonderful teacher. You won't find a better math teacher anywhere in the school. Awsome.
the only time i understood anything was when i came in the mornings, but even then i had to tell her a day before or she didn't like helping me.
Explains everything well. Once you adjust to her grading style (which is better than other math teachers) the class is easy to ace if you do your work.
POD'S ARE HORRIBLE, but other than that she's a pretty good teacher. I learn in her class, but shes to awake for first period!
A really helpful and caring teacher. Not the best personality, but she doesn't het paid to be nice.
she does keep classes under control she's a little peppy for 2nd period but it's all good b/c she's nice and helpful
'Problem-Of-the-Day's (PODs) are great! They make you think! she also understands the students
Teaching is not your strength. Instead of having us answer all the questions you can answer them we don't know everything. Hint, Hint that's why your there.
She's so nice. I had her 2 years ago and she still says hi to me in the halls and remembers my name.
Really good teacher. She has her bad days every once in a while, but I still learned a lot from her. Keep it up. Very willing to help
let's see...PODs stink, portfolios are a waste of time, and what kind of extra credit do you give??? at least i learn stuff in your class though
aiight mrs m. just wanted to let ya know im throwin in the towel. i cant learn from looking at the clock all period, when it comes test time, im pretty much....
Boring Boring Boring!!!!! Fifth period Geometry is boring.
She really makes you work but she's always there to help you if you need it.
U need to have some fun time....not work work work!!! We need a break every once and a while!!!!
Because of you, I don't completely hate geometry. I like the activities we do, but i hate PODs. You are a great teacher, but not as good as Ol' Man Milanovich
McKaveny is one of the only teachers at HHS who knows how to keep a class under control, even though she's annoying she knows what she's talking about
PODs are annoying, and even worse are the portfolios. If both of them weren't worth points or something, I'd be very happy.
I must say I can't stand the POD's! She does generally help you if you don't understand something. Although it's not always clear.
you are cool and i really like having you, you r a great teacher and i am learning alot this year, if i dont haveyou nextyear i dontknow whati will do.
Ehhh, you are alright I guess... I could do without the POD's though..
I like you both as a teacher and a person. You really do try and make our rather unmotiveated Basic class try harder. Keep doing the notes pages!
