He was a really fun teacher, and I really enjoyed his class.
OH MY GOD STOP HATING ON MR. PALMER!! He's a very nice teacher, unfortunately these students can't stand him because he's mean. He helps you pass Spanish and he offers second chances. The games we play in his class are very fun, like charades and Friday favorites. BUT STOP HATING ON HIM!!! He is there to help you pass his class!!
i mean the guy is very smart and intelligent, but i wish i could say i actually learned something in his class. you can easily pass his class if youre atleast pretending to do the work. he usually gives second chances on every assignment so thats good. but there are no powerpoints, lectures, or lessons in his class. the closest weve come to a lesson is when our class watches the fifth grade level grammer videos. midterms were very hard and i could cheat because he never taught the material.
Mr. Palmer is very engaging. My son gets to learn about culture through food and dance as well as the text! Since my child was never much of a fan of learning by the book alone, this style of teaching has been a great help in keeping him motivated to learn. On our recent trip to Cancun he handled all of our ordering. I love this school!
His class isn't really that hard if you do the work assigned by him you get a good grade.
So far so good. I always had trouble with spanish until this year with Palmer. He makes understanding how to actually speak and understand easy for me. Yeah, we do vocab everyday, make sentences everyday and have to act things out in spanish and speak it for games. I can write paragraphs now. If you don't do the easy work 4 this class you won't get it.
Don't lnow how the proncipal allows him to teach. He only teaches a word at a time out of the dictionary index part of the book. The exams and projects are not one word at a time.
Mr. Palmer is my favorite teacher and i like the way he teaches. he is very helpful and gives second chances. His work might take time for some people...but its doable!!! i personally think that that students themselves are just lazy....I went from an F in spanish 1 to an A in spanish 2. If i could do it then anyone else can do it!! stop hating on Mr. Palmer. Hes a nice person and a good teacher.
He JUST saved my life and allowed me (and like thrity other kids) to bring my late makeup work in and bring up my grade so I passed. LIFESAVER!
Nice guy, but his class is pretty hard. We get to play games to learn stuff but he expects a lot.
Palmer is best spanish teacher. Nuff said. -The Legend (aka Katie Burkhardt)
He seems easy going and lenient but he does teach anything at all. He just assumes that you know the material. If you get into the Advanced Team, drop out immidietly because all of the teaching that he is getting paid for will go onto your shoulders. I hated his class. He would never put anything up on echalk, but still expect it due that class. There was absolutely no communication other than when he told his "stories."
At first the work load may seem tough because you have to learn 30 words a night but it gets tougher and tougher through the year. Whatever you do try not to get an A in the first quarter if you do you're gonna be put in the
I can't stand this guy's teaching methods. He wants us to learn more than 30 words every night (which we all forget in less than 2 weeks) and his homework is just stupid. I can't wait until I can leave this class because I wa
Definetly one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's not just an awesome teacher but an awesome guy.
The best. I find ways to get into his class even when my schedule doesnt allow it. Nobel peace prize winner.
Mr. Palmer is an intellegent and creative teacher. His methods are interesting and he keeps everyone involved. One of the best teachers I've ever had.
Dont listen to all dem haterz below,Mr. Palmer is an amazing teacher. Not only do we learn a lot about spanish,we also learn how to be better people as a whole. While his methods arnt always be traditional,he gets the job done
Mr. Palmer is very clever, however tends to stray away from the subject at hand. He never does much work on his part as a teacher, and usually only give oral assesments. He is arrogant, and grades students based of favortism.
