If you don't want a strict teacher, then Berk's the way to go. There is little to no structure in his class/ no due dates. He barely teaches and talks about things loosely related to the curriculum. Never has taught us how to write, yet expects us to perform up to AP par as well as grades us at that level. I have not really learned anything this year. He is a wonderful person, though, so that's what makes me like him. He relies too much on how all the students are extremely smart already.

He is the better of the 2 APE 12 teachers to be sure. He is really really smart but sometimes it's hard to listen to for 2 hours straight. It is amazing about how some the things he says you just start to pick up. He really wants you to understand and tries to relate things to what we like. Most of the Iliad was spent comparing Achilles to Harry Potter.

Really good teacher, everyone loves him. A lot of people take advantage of how he allows late assignments. He trys to make sure you understand what your doing

There's no question that Mr. B is popular... but I question the relevance of the material.
