The worst teacher I've ever had. 95% of class consisted of us doing hw for other classes and eating in the practice rooms as he watched Disney movies in his office. I switched to Choir in 10th grade. By far the best decision I've made in high school. He made me lose my passion for Band and the Clarinet, and he contributed literally nothing to the Band department. I wish he had left a lot earlier, because it was clear his sickness also added to his lack of effort.

uses band funds to pay others to conduct for him. seats based on preference, not achievement. sits in a weird dark cave. picks only weird modern stuff and nothing normal to even contrast or vary. feti

G is a man who cares about him self, his heart is a black hole only concerning about wind symphony this year the symphony band has only 12 kids and 15 percussionists, if you read his sbo magazine interview you can see he says we have 4 band, total lie, we have 1 and a half. there are so many people who do stuff for g i dobut he knows most of the freshmans name this year, only reason he still has hisjob is becuase he pays clendaniel off with our "donations" yeah the donations were asked to give 20 timesa yr

What a waste of time marching band was this year. It was bad enough that last year we had to play our music while standing. This year, we didn't even march. I could think of a million better and more productive things to do with my time.

Worst waste of time and elective opportunity at Langley HS. Want to do something creative -- I suggest you try the art department. Take this class if you want to study the art of card playing.

I understand some of the frustration but I personally love the class, having been in WS from Fresh- Junior year. Mr. G is a extraordinary teacher the sucess of the band now relies with the students.

Mr. G you should not rate yourself here -- the "Me, Me, Me" = Langley is classic "G". I Can't imagine ANY student saying that. Nice to know you think we seniors are morons...:-(

He doesn't rate himself. that's rediculous. the higher band tries, has fun and gets more out of it. the rest of you don't care and that's your own fault.

Mr. G teaches very little music to the lower band. It's an easy 'A' -- basically show up with your music and fog a mirror. But we don't learn anything.
