Signor Cassara was no nonsense, yet one of the nicest and passionate teachers I ever had. Graduated in 2001 and even though I went into healthcare, his professionalism still speaks to me. I hope he is doing well in retired life!

He was magnifico! I had him from 1987-1990. Honestly, he was THE BEST part of massapequa high. I became a teacher partly because of this wonderful man. The matching socks and his LOVE for tennis made him SO much fun. He truly cared about us and was ALWAYS there for me. I won the Dante medal because you inspired me signor Cassara! I miss you to this day! Charles P.

My favorite teacher. He would say "Ciao Bella" to me a lot. I remember little Italian but will always remember Mr. Cassara. I loved the International festival in 1977 I danced the Tarantella.
