One of my favorite teachers. He might seem strict but he is very willing to help if you sincerely want to know something. Just don't get on his bad side. I've had him for two years and I still look forward to his class. One of the funniest teachers I've ever had.

Mr. Bernardo is strict but it is very understandable. He focuses on what he is doing and he tries to get us to speak Spanish as much as possible so you actually are getting to talk learn in Spanish. He is a great teacher if you are passionate about learning the language

he's super strict and likes to put the kids he doesn't like on the spot. he doesn't really like answering questions and can be very condescending. I probably learned more in his spanish class than others due to fear

He's intimidating, but he has a sense of humor. You learn a lot in his class. ALWAYS do your work if you're native speaker, he gets disappointed. Don't make all Hispanics seem lazy, okay?

As a native Spanish speaker, I just laughed whenever he made stuff up. I also thought it was ridiculous when people asked him how to say things and he said "I'm not a dictionary." One of the worst teachers I ever had.

he is an awful teacher. Although, he did help me a lot when I needed help. He just expects us to know the information right away and does not give extra time to study it. He is pretty fast at grading tests and quizzes. And our class was pretty funny.

I'm an AP student who has aced Spanish before. My first semester of Spanish IV, I had an A all semester until the last two days of class. I even aced the final. But he wouldn't give me that one percent even though I always arrived to class a half an hour early and participated. I always did the homework and was consistantly a good student. He's a harsh grader. Missing an "a" in a word is the same three point deduction as missing an accent. Ridiculous? Yes.

Very Strict, but funny. He was also a very hard grader. He will push you in spanish, i had him for spanish I and he taught me things that were being taught in Spanish II. He excels at teaching. Really wanted to punch him in the face everytime i saw him though or kick him since he loves soccer so much. Expects everyone to go home and study spanish culture. Only likes you if you play soccer.

He is a really hard teacher with a bad reputation, but i don't think you should let his reputation give you an impression of him. He is just around to do what teachers are supposed to do, teach. He is pretty straight to the point. He is really a nice guy if you show him that you want to learn his language. he just has to be strict because he wants there to be more respect for the spanish language and wants the students to be successful spanish speakers
