Anita Splendore while at Brookline HIgh School taught me how to write. I went on to Boston University and never got less than a B+, and that only twice, on an essay, I went on to the Iowa Writers Workshop, wrote a novel, a book of poetry, and over 200 songs, and have taught high school and college writing and literature. And I owe her so much for those one-on-one sessions in Contemporary Literature class at BHS. She had great understanding and her teaching had wonderful nuance. --B.R.
she was absolutely excellent and one of the nicest people I've had the honor of learning from. She was my teacher almost 30 years ago, but I still think about her like it was yesterday
some of her teaching styles are a little old fashioned, but she is really good about listening to students who have new ideas for her

Im in 3rd year of college now and to this day i can safetly say she has been the best teacher i have ever had!
She gets confused sometimes, and just looks around the room like she doesn't know where she is.
