She was just a terrible teacher! I was a biology major in college, so I ended up being my daughter's tutor for this class. The work she sent home (and there was a lot of it!) was disorganized and confusing. I had to clarify so many details for my daughter in order for it to make sense. Her tests and quizzes were not based on an understanding of the material, but instead based on pure memorization of the words she sent home, in her wording. She got a B in the class, but now hates science.
She has a lot of knowledge of biology, but her tests and quizzes are extremely difficult and she assigns way too much homework.
She is a dedicated teacher who gives hard tests and labs that require a lot of studying in order to succeed. You need to know even more than what it says on the notes in order to do well in the labs. Her class is difficult and prepares you for the rest of high school.
Bad teacher, all she does is sit on her computer. Her tests and quizes are impossible
She is a lazy teacher who hands out a packet and sits at her desk eating donuts all day. She puts in all of the grades at the last minute giving you no time to make up tests or correct her errors.
She teaches you stuff from a packet of fill in the blank notes. Tests are minimum 150 questions more short answer than not. Labs are somewhat confusing. I had her and that was the only C+ I EVER got in high school. Always As or B+'s. Nothing lower. I now have a doctorate degree and graduated from Duke University. Not worth putting your time into this class
you will not survive wth her. Lab
questions are impossible!
she need to make stuff easier but over all shes a nice teacher
She basically sets you up to fail. Not a good teacher at all. She should be fired.
She doesn't use any textbooks and she never returns assignments in time to know what you did right or wrong, or to use assignments to study. She tells crude jokes about menopause and hot flashes.
Tests and projects were always disconnected from class. Many students, including mine, would have picked a different teacher had they known.
Mrs Bhare can't teach for her life. She teaches by using fill in the blank packets?! And while you fill in the blanks, she'll be at her desk on her laptop, not clarifying or explaining exactly what you are learning. And she'll tell you to have "common sense." Just because she knows what she's talking about doesn't mean we do. She seems to think that her class has more importance than your other classes.
Mrs Bhare is quite a comedian. Shes a terrific teacher and is a fun lady. She assigns Way too much work but thats what is expected from her students. Her tests are pretty hard as are her quizzes but the class paid off
She is a very good teacher and has very good teaching skills...only thing is she is very strict and expects the most from her students
Mrs Bhare seems like a hard teacher at first and seems very strict but is actually a very fun teacher who will joke with kids a lot
she taught by giving you notes, telling you to memorize them, and then take a quiz on them. not only was her class hard but her citizenship grades are horribly calculated. i got blamed for everything
Although Ms. Bhare's class was slightly difficult reading the notes she provided definitely helped on the tests and quizzes.
I loved Bhare. Hands down. But she's a load of work. She was just so helpful and amazing. She's so fun to talk to too.
Too hard, too unclear, and she's not considerate about her students. That's put into "nice" terms.
She's really difficult, but you learn the material well.
toooooo hard!!!! im literally dying because of her class
She's an amazing teacher and really knows her stuff.
Great teacher. I took her Biology Honors class 2 years ago and I still remember everything. Difficult class unless you study. I got an A but not without great effort. Teaches exactly what's on tests.
She's not bad our bio class was so much fun. Her quizes you actually have to do something called "study" I don't know if your familiar with that but it's exactly what's on the notes. She's great!
she is really nice and even though everyone says shes mean, shes not. her class is hard. its the subject, not her. and her tests are hard, but thats what studying is for. and sometimes, we get off task, and we can talk about other stuff, with not much relavance, but in the end, you learn a lot. and if you cant get a C or higher, then its you. not her. and shes probably the better bio teacher. her and mr. rubkes scores are about 1% apart. thats not much. you will get a lot of the class, shes great!
Her class is actually pretty easy if you memorize the notes. Plus, she's a good teacher.
interesting person but all we do is fill in the blanks of her notes.her tsts are hard and her class is the only one i have any trouble in.she needs new teaching tactics.
in bio honors i didnt get great grades at frist, but then i started studying a lot more and i ended up with an A. shes actually A GOOD TEACHER! i still talk to her today.
At first I hated her. But once you get to know her, she's not that bad. The first few chapters are extremely tough (chem) her tests are very specific, but no need to switch out
It's her way or the highway. But she sort of tries to help. But very strict.. Rubke>Her.. I switched out of her class in the first week I had her
She's a great teacher and if you actually ask her for help she's great. Biology is not an easy subject so you slackers out there don't give her a bad name.
everyone thinks she's terrible and mean, but not to my class. i have her for Honors Bio and i actually understand this stuff. she's a good teacher and funny...it's just we get off topic sooooo much on all the lectures it takes us like 2 block pds to get thru 4 pages of notes! she's alright tho
Get out of this class ASAP, YOU'LL FAIL OR CHANCES ARE HAVE LOW GRADES!!!..She grades too hard and specificly... Also picks favorites..
shes nice and all but the material is really tuff. test are really hard and i usually get a c or d on them but still maintain a c+ in the class. jus study!!!!!!!
My biggest gripe about Bhare is her tests are simply too specific - does it really matter, in the long run, if we know, exactly, word for word, the anwser to some obscure biology question? As long as we understand what the principals, that should be enough
first of, she picks favorites. You also have to have everything WORD FOR WORD!! i mean really....its not enough that you get the general idea for her...
She picks favorites which isn't nice. She is also very mean, when there's a test she want's an answer from the book WORD FOR WORD. most people fail her class
she does pick favorites--not cool...plus on the tests and quizzes she demands very specific answers
well she isnt a bad teacher just her subject is super hard! I mean honors bio is hard anyway so study hard!
