Ms. Buono should not be teaching at Marblehead Highschool, especially a freshman honors english class. She is always moody and seems to be in a bad mood when confronting her about a situation about homework, project, essay, test, etc. She talks like she wants to hurry up and leave. Everything she teaches, she makes it boring. Ms. Buono said we can seat wherever we want, but at the same time she made us move up a seat or switch with any other student. Very unacceptable teacher. Terrible. :(

Very kind and helpful, like any other teacher he will respect you more if you go the extra mile and take time to talk to him when you're not satisfied with a grade. It's not impossible to get an A from him - he just has very high standards, but if you talk to him about his grading guidelines and get a sense of what he's looking for you'll definitely succeed.

Ratings are skewed because she lets her CP1 class run wild but is extremely negative and unhelpful to her AP students. She refuses to teach anything from the college board AP curriculum, instead she just makes you write papers in a style she likes to read. Most helpful comment on any paper is "ew" and "no" without any reasoning. My writing is "concise" to her standards but the class was entirely unprepared for the AP exam.

Mr. Ryan is one of those teachers who won't give out A's. It's really annoying, but he is a great teacher, especially at writing, and he's a good guy. He seems intimidating but behind the beard he's pretty soft

His class gave me the one C+ on my transcript. But, I would never trade the experiences in that class for a better grade. His vocab tests are difficult and his quotes tests are nearly impossible, but I have so many good memories from the class. He's a really cool, confusing person and I spent the whole year to try to understand him. I never did. Maybe you can.

Mr. Ryan is a character he hates when people breaks his staplers and has a wide variety of ties. He has the teaching style of Yoda and teaches with rhymes and puzzles. he will never lose a argument and is never wrong. All around his ways all work out if you are willing to accept a C

Worst teacher ever had. Tells the class to sit in front row or your grade will suffer. Loses papers/assignments. Way over her head teaching AP English. Reviewing for AP exam, she gets majority of multiple choice questions wrong. then laughs.

This mans beard single-handely toppled the Egyptian and Libyan governments in one night. Many people don't know this but Mr. Ryan has won strongest man alive every year since the awarded has been around, they just give it to someone else for the media's sake. If you disrespect him, watch out. Inside his beard is an army of angry wildlife creatures thirsty for the taste of human flesh and blood. After they beat you up, they will make you do desks until your arms want to fall off. We're best buds.

Seriously one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is not the easiest grader, but he expects a lot. He also is willing to give you a lot of freedom on your writing and his classes are the closest you can get to the college level in high school. If you have trouble, come to him for help, and he will help you. The people who don't like him are overgrown middle school students who think they can get away with anything, and he doesn't take that crap. Really a great guy! Take his class!
