Mrs.Murphy got upset with me because she set an unreasonable due date for two projects. She is mostly dependent on worksheets to teach her honors 9 students. The previously mention assignments were nearly back to back due dates and given the same days to work on them. I don't even care if she recognizes this story. I did nothing to make her angry. I made a human mistake, and she became visibly angry with me. I think she needs to be forced to retire. She is way too old to be teaching.
Best teacher, extends deadlines and she is very understanding and she trust her students.
Mrs. Murphy does NOT have clear deadlines. She also assigns stupid debates. Nobody knew what the topic was and she did not even show up to it. She also grades class discussion points but has no real grading logic behind it. She is a VERY slow grader. Her class is very boring and she is a pushover. Did not understand anything in that class.
No one ever knows what's happening in her class and it's a great time to take a nap! She's very gullible and can convince her you did anything. Here's how to get an A, go to class and don't die.
Mrs Murphy was one of my favorite teachers in high school. I really enjoyed her class.
I had her for 9th grade Honors English. I have absolutely no idea how I passed her class with a B because I never turned in an essays. She always tried to help me and was very nice to the class.
(Cont. from below) Puts down students often. Switch out if possible! She can ruin your whole year.
Easily the worst teacher I've ever had. Her grading process is a complete mess; deadlines are never defined. Almost always gives you a random grade whether you did the assignment or not. She plays favorites
I say she is a rotten woman. She cares more about driving her point, grading homework, and lowering the esteem of her students than being their ally. Her focus is being difficult and harsh than providing any real assistance or even remote kindness.
While in her class, I feel like I didn't learn anything. Whenever we had to write an essay and I asked for help, she spewed some b.s. that didn't make sense. Also one of the most, if not the most, boring classes I've ever taken.
She was probably the best English teacher Ive ever had. i learned a lot and had fun and got an A in the class
I remember her as being one of my least favorite teachers in high school because she I felt like she didn't try to understand her students.
I feel like I was the only one in my class who actually liked AP12. And I wasn't even one of her "favorites"... it was just a good class! Really open-ended and good for people who love to write and analyze. If you don't like those things then get out now! I loved her wacky style though!
Tests are definitely hard, but she is reasonable and will give you a break sometimes and also gives EC
I had her for advanced 9th grade english. There was many big projects. Sometimes she was unclear and talked to herself but she was a very nice woman.
class is EASY, tests are hard. def. plays favorites. has many mood swings...also a very fun/active/crazy teacher at times but can go from that to really mean and strict in a second
plays favorites...gives busy work...has discussions and debates with herself....GOOOOOD NAPPING TIME!!
