Now, nearly 10yrs after graduating shaker and working as a high school teacher I can confidently say that Anne Kuthy was the single worst educator I have ever come across.
if I knew back wehn I signed up to be in this class, I would have tried to get into the other teacher's class. really want out, but it is too late.
Kuthy might know what she's talking about, but she needs to help her students, not demoralize them. The criticizes everything we do and we never know what we're doing RIGHT. There is good side.
so glad this year is over. it has been agony . Her classes seem twice as long as all the others. she likes to hear herself talk. best thing is to never have to listen to her babble or cough again.
In 1984 she taught my dad. He thought she was like a Muppets character, Miss Piggy- who's all about herself w/an unpredictable personality. So glad her class is almost over. We need vacation from her
She started nice. By January was grumpy & mean. She complains @ EVERYTHING & says she never had a10th grade AP English class as bad as us. We're good kids & other teachers LIKE us. She needs to retire
She likes to hear herself talk. Unfortunately, no one's opinions are as important as her opinions. Has her favorites and good luck if you are not one of them.
Easily the worst teacher I have had at any level, elementary through graduate school. Perhaps the worst I've seen in my 19 years as a professional educator.
very mean, not very good and def playes favorites, if your a good student she treats you better
She is a nice person, and a good teacher. She should, however, give her students longer to complete assignments.
She shoots down any opinion not matching her own and has a disgusting chronic cough. I feel sorry for the person who has to sit in front of her. Never shuts up and very rude too!
Kuthy plays favorites. Kuthy gives some students options she doesn't give other students, based on a "hunch" that the student is "going places." Thumbs down.
I don't think she's read a book since college. She never knew what she was talking about in class discussions, and she played favorites.
