mr. papp is amazing. even though he has mood swings at times, he is super super sweet. he is extremely passionate about music and students. he will be greatly missed
PAPP! Never had him as a teacher but we play trumpet gigs together all the time. I LOVE THIS MAN!
Not really much to say about Papp....you can't not like him.
hes really awesome and incredibly understanding, but if hes not doing something pertaining to the situation he'll probably forget it
It's Papp. That's all I have to say. You kind of need to meet him to understand. He's an amazing teacher and person who loves to talk about building Rome in a day, becoming dog meat, and marrying. LOL...Papisms!
Only a couple faults: he thinks all students should look up to him as a role model, and he believes shouting and storming at the end of the year will fix the laxity he brought about in the beginning by letting the band do whatever it wants. Admonishes whole band instead of the few bothering him. Talks when we should be playing. Should give the band some free time to relax and talk (lunch-rehearsal combo not the same thing); maybe then we wouldn't talk so much. But otherwise, sweet, great, and really nice!
i hope he teaches band forever.. the sweetest, nicest, the most understanding guy on earth
i love papp but he needs to retire. he is just so forgetful and talks SOOOO much, he is really good at music but the talks take soooo long that nothing gets done but my math hw. and the noises when he conducts soo funny
he is nice, caring, and encouraging. when u feel like ur a failure, go talk to him and u feel like you are the best person in the world!
great teacher...foundation of the music program..always encourages you even if your not good
please mr. papp dont retire..without u our music program would fall apart. there would be a lack of gold awards once ur gone..seriously
I'm not in band but Mr. Papp still knos me and I kno him. He is one of those music teachers that you can really relate to. Gotta luv Mr. Papp!
Pappalardo, had him in the early 80's for marching band & concert band, a good teacher overall, after dealing with the likes of us retirement will be a joy
You are so awesome, one of the best teachers ever but you made a fatal mistake last year...hiring Bartlett.
Don't retire!!! Barty is nothing like you. You're class is more fun because you make it fun and we actually get stuff done.
I graduated in 97.Mr.Papp inspired me to become the person i am today and taught me how to be the best at it.He is like a dad to me.I hope to be as good as him.
You are very compassionate. Just play more variation.
