Nasty piece of work. Years ago I got a 98 on the English Regents, no thanks to her. Her response? "Wow, you didn't fail like I expected you to.' I became a teacher and I do my best not to act like her with my students.
I had Arlene in the 70's as my English teacher she was amazing.I still have contact with her and I can call her a true friend. She changed my life for the better during those High School days. Arlene gave me trust and independance that I would never have experienced without her and her husbands Phil's support.
I had her in the mid 1990s. Great teacher. Very supportive. Very bright and a dedicated teacher. She charges for letters of recommendation now that she retired? Good for her!
She was nice though even though she gave a lot of homework.... she had a great personality out of te classroom.
I heard that she charged students for letters of recommendation after she retired. Not cool!
