I absolutely adore Senior A! I took his class 14 years ago, however I can say everything he taught me I still utilize till this day. He teaches you in a method you can understand and implement in conversations. By far the best Spanish teacher I've had. I do admit I was intimidated by him on the first day but as you get to know him more, his sense of humor is second to none. I can confidently say he is one of the few teachers who shaped me to who I am today.

He is the best teacher in Spanish but he's biased on his participation because like the people who got an A is the people who sit in front of the room so if you sit at the back good luck getting that A even if you pass his test it's going to be a B+ be lucky unless you get a perfect score on his tests you can get it.

SR. A IS THE BEST SPANISH TEACHER. If you pay attention in class it is super easy. he sometimes fools around when you are doing work(making weird faces, dancing etc.). He is really funny and he often give us food during class. compared to the other spanish teachers, he teaches more content but is good at teaching and explaining it. He also sometimes talks about his past or his adventures around the world. The only thing that would be a problem is that you are learning another language. :)

Senor A is considerably one of the best language teachers any student could ever have. He is not easy by any means, making you remember the language not by the next test, but by heart. His spanish class taught me not to just remember words, but to be a conversational speaker in a language I knew nothing about. I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it. Best teacher I ever had at Independence

There is a lot of work and a lot of drills and if you don't know your vocabulary and study you will have a tough time in his class. If you study and try hard you can learn so much.

If you don't get Senor A in your first year of foreign language, you might as well not put too much hope into your future in the FL department. It's better to get him your first year than your second or third, because you would be able to learn what you'd need for your future years if you get him in your first year. Senor A is really great. He's scary on the first day of school to let you know what to expect, but he's actually a great teacher and he is one of the teachers on campus that can actually TEACH.

I've always thought Senor A as a hard and hard-to-get-along teacher but after these few weeks of school, I've found him to be sort of eccentric and yes, his class is difficult to pass, but it is true that he spends a lot of time with his students' learning and academics. Senor A is a teacher you can rely on if you are interested in learning a foreign language. And this from a Freshman is saying something.
