Madame is definitely crazy. She is quite unorganized and has no clue what is going on most of the time. The class time is typically very unproductive and she gives very difficult exams. This was the first french class i have taken at NA where outside work is needed to do well and that is mainly just because she doesn't teach. She can be funny but really isn't that great of a teacher
She's not /that/ bad. Really. Uhm, well, I guess it's a hard class, but I actually think I can speak french. And that's the point. Really, guys.
Maybe some people can learn from her, but others aren't taking the class next year solely because of her. Last year she was nice, not this year. Shame NA can't do better.
I think Madame is hilarious. She can be condescending at times, but if you participate and get involved during class, you will soon find that you will learn a ton. She's a great teacher!
All of the work that she makes you do is well worth it if you have to take french in college. I got B+ and A- in her class, but right now I have a 99% in my advanced french class in college.
When I went to college, I was way ahead of my classmates even in upper-level classes. Madame Zaun is kind and has a good sense of humor, but doesn't tolerate a lot of BS.
Wait until you have French class in college. If you follow Madame's lead, you will actually walk away from high school being able to speak, read, and write in French. This woman doesn't need lame gimics to teach well.
i wrote a whole paper in college about her and how terrible she was and i used education theories to prove it
My favorite teacher ever. People either love her or hate her--but I think that's the case for every really good teacher. I learned so much in her class.
one of the only teachers i actually liked in high school
