Everything she taught me my 10th grade helped me all the way through the rest of high school. She was tough when it came to her exams but everything on the test could be found in your notes if you take them correctly. She taught more than what was in the curriculum but it was necessary knowledge that would help you down the road. I, personally, loved her and respect her.
Had her for English Honors in 1995 & AP English 1997. Loved her as a teacher. However, she is an Ed.D.. I am surprised that she didn't pick up on the fact that I had Aspergers syndrome, since it would have saved me almost 20 more years of hardship.
(I was super-smart, but had few friends & couldn't "get" reading comprehension - dam those AP Preps). Sorry, "Doc," but for a doctor of education, I'd have expected better.
Dr.Godbold was an amazing teacher. She was mildly challenging. There was no doubt that she favored the students who tried harder, but she was justified because the others wouldn't pay attention or were downright rude. I loved Dr. G
There's no doubt in my mind that she is fluent in her craftand that she knows more than the books. Her exams would be hard if you didn't pay attention, but she goes over everything with such clarity and would stay after school for hours with just one student. Her dedication to her profession is astounding.
Someone who has been teaching for 49 years is bound to get a few bad ratings from clueless students seeking an easy class. Life isn't easy and Dr. Godbold prepares you for it.
She hates me, it shows. Okay, alright, okay, alright, etc.
Dr. Godbold is a really interesting teacher and I like her class because she challenges her students in every way possible. Her knowledge of the world and how she relates it to the classroom and what we are learning currently is very helpful. I like her a lot, but she can be strict at times. Cool teacher.
she is extreamly awesome she gives you the grades you deserve and she is the only teacher in the whole school that acctually prepares you for college. she also acctually knows what she's talking about (given that she's been doing this since.....shes been teaching longer then the schools been built) and any one can pass her class you just need to be willing to do the work if you arent then you should be taking honors classes in the first place
My daughter had Dr. Godbold for Honors English and I saw that she challenged and taught these students far beyond their grade level. More teachers should be as dedicated and educated.
she works as hard as she can to challenge you intellectually because she wants to see you learn, not because she likes watching students suffer. brilliant woman, by far the highest quality teacher in the school.
Dr. Godbold is by far the best teacher in the Brick Schools I have attended. She is a brilliant woman. Her class is not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be either. People say she scares them, but I find her to be very approachable. Her class always flew by because it was so interesting.
when someone this snart wabts to tell you something (basically) for free, you should listen
hard teacher...but if you do the work and pay attention you will learn more in her class than any other class in the entire school
One of the best teachers I ever had. Iwalked out of her class knowing so much. It really helps me in all my other classes. I really miss her as my teacher.
AMAZING TEACHER!!! Very very very GOOD TEACHER, I've had her for weeks and I've learned more than I'd expected. Very hard, also...
Retire already! The worst teacher you can ever imagine. If you haven't had her before, you have absolutely no idea, it's unimaginable how hard she is.
pay attention..you will learn more in her class then you will ever learn in college. I am a smarter person for having had her as a teacher
She has to be the best teacher I have ever had! I learne sooooo much in her class. So much that it is now helping me ALOT in college!
Well her class isnt as hard as people make it seem, as long as you do the work.
Way too much work. She will actually help you though. Make sure to avoid the evil eye whenever you can, etc, ok, fine.
She's by far one of my favorite classes. She knows her stuff, and what other people say isn't true. She's funny and really smart, and doesn't take crap.
I am now a successful adult, but I still cringe at the thought of writing an essay. The woman permanantly scarred me. She has a phalic symbol obsession.
she's not as bad as i thought she wood be. she does say etc way too much and stares down at you wen ever she talks to you
Be prepared to do a lot of work in a short time if you get this lady, ok? etc. Very fair teacher though, etc. ok? fine.
She's know her stuff... not as bad as ne one said.. she's not bad at all..
Underappreciated. The most intelligent and worldly teacher anyone in Brick could have the fortune of teaching them. Thanks Doc.
I didn't appreciate what an amazing teacher Dr. Godbold was until I graduated. She is, by far, one of the very best teachers I've ever had. Thank you!!
the only three words she says are ok, fine, and etc. i used to count during class. one time she said ok like 50 times.
good teacher very clear extremely intelligent has a passion for what she teaches
Not as bad as you hear...you've gotta have the right mind set in order to handle her...
Godbold is a very intelligent person, but is sometimes too much for everyone!
I feel like I learned 439854935 times more in her class than I did this year. Yay for the Doc.
Barb is the best teacher I have encountered. She teaches like there is no tomorrow. Of course she is hard, it's the only way you'll learn. Mmmkay...!
As a former student, Dr. Godbold is a better teacher than most English Lit professors I had.
greatest teacher at this school. so worldly and knows her stuff. really fun class
