man im so glad i dont have her anymore she was the hardest teacher ive ever had very strict, and very hard picked favorites and hated some students her class was pointless in terms of how much it will help you in real life her exam was impossible absolutely hate her
She was the hardest teacher any person of our grade level had. She was absolutely crazy. But she was a great person, an elderly person with wisdom. She gave each and every one of the students of her class the illusion that her class was necessary. But once I was out of her class, I realized that her class was absolutely pointless. Most of her class included art projects and plays. Despite this, her tests were absolutely random and impossible. If you haven't had her, you're lucky: She's retired..
It is definately not an easy class, however she is an extremely helpful teacher and always makes herself clear when she is explaining something. She is very knowledgeable and wise and can answer most questions you ask her. She is strict for sure but its just so that she can keep her class running smoothly. I personally think she is a nice teacher with the exception that her tests are ridiculous
It's a tough class but she's amazing and brilliant
She is an awesome teacher and expects a lot from you and just wants you to succeed. People really need to cut her some slack...
She is an extremely strict teacher but you will probably end up liking her in the end. She is a nice and hilarious person but teaches a rigorous English course. She hardly ever gives homework but expects a lot from you and asks spontaneous questions.
We do art projects in an english course? I am completely confused. Half the activities we partake in have no beneficial means for us as students. Having to make an "artifact" for the Gilgamesh book or "making" a red attic vase for Oedipus? What does that teach us in world literature. Especially since most students are not artsy nor can produce the "pretty" work she expects. It's unreasonable to ask us to do art projects in english.
Amazing teacher, mentor, friend... She's tough because she wants you to succeed to your fullest capability. I bet you she is one of the few people still holding Myers Park together... :)
she is a VERY VERY hard teacher.her test are extreemly difficult. Never try to change her mind; it will not work. She will prepare you though.
She was an outstanding teacher. But beware: the class is no walk in the park, and dealing with her personality is not always easy. She prepares you well for dealing with Mrs. Berini...
You learn alot in her class, and she explains world literature very well. She's not out there to fail you, it's up to you to do well. She is quite intimidating though, especially when you talk to her about grade changes.
I'm now graduating college, but I still look back on Mrs. Goodloe's humanities class as one of the best I ever took. Thanks, Mrs. Goodloe!
take home message is let ms. henry teach ib seniors and let mr. cartiff teach tok alone. tok only needs one teacher and he is good. ib seniors shouldn't have shuping...she is bad.
Well, I take her Lit and Flim class, which I find awesome. She knows what she is talking about and has 'connections', so she is speaking from experience. We actually learn in her class, instead of just watching movies all the time.
get out of this class at all costs! if she dont like u, thats baaad, because she will try to make you fail. Gives things back late on purpose so you wont challenge the grade. Makes getting help a big deal, in order for u to not "bother" her
I liked her. Her class was no walk in the park, though. I advise actually reading the books, and memorizing your notes. Tests are verbatim from lectures.
Cmon its not hard. Learn English, do the work, and dont complain about an easy class. very good teacher.
she is very unclear about expectations, we don't even know how much different grades are going to count, hard to get help, does not teach, and wants you to fail
Goodloe and Wigg's Humanities class is by far the best class I've taken. True she's hard, but she makes class interesting and fun
gradesDoes not treat everyone equally. She has taken the most interesting subject and turned it into something hateful. She does not educate-just grades.
i like mrs goodloe. although class is challenging, its really interesting and you can really see that she loves to teach!
She makes her classes work hard, but she works hard in return. Although it may not be apparent, she does want you to do well.
Mrs. Goodloe is a wonderful teacher. She really makes literature come alive and in Humanities, Mr. Wiggs gives the historical period a name, she gives it a face
An ok teacher, not a good person: if one makes a silly mistake, she will remind you and never trust you again, she is very arbitrary and only likes elite studen
Last year of Hum...... I bet she's sad... She's not too bad tho....
She was okay. Hard, but a good teacher. Be prepared to work hard :)
Mrs. Goodloe has forgotten more about english than any of us will ever know. In other words, she's awesome!
well, she keeps you on your toes, and if you work hard, she'll help some. if you are not artistic, please don't do humanities!!!!
I don't like her but apparently some people really do...............
Obviously a difference of opinion with her. Some people love her (me) others hate her. I thought she was awesome...it depends on who you are...expect philisophy
