I am 1/2 Hawaiian and portugese and the first day in her class she asked me in front of everyone if I was Hawaiian I said yes she said I think u better transfer out my class u don't look Hawaiian!?! I didn't know just because I'm fair skinned that I wasn't Hawaiian enough to her liking oh by the way her skin is the same as mine so I can't believe she is still teaching! She crazy and rude and a bully seriously get rid of her. It pains me that she still continue to judge people by their race!

She needs a serious change of attitude in order to operate as a teacher at peak efficiency. She succeeds with flying colors, however, in the category of bias. Extraordinarily biased, getting on her good side means an A; getting on her bad side means a C or worse. Keeping your head down is not in my personality, and I suffered for it. I suggest you stay quiet until the last day of school - Then tell her all her downfalls. She needs to change but not at the expense of your grade.

Mrs. Stender-Jenkins is extremely biased and makes rude comments to students. After 2 students transferred out of her class, she proceeded to make rude comments about them behind their backs. She is extremely unclear in her instructions, provides little to no teaching and absolutely no course material worth learning. She has clear favorites and picks on others. I clearly hope she retires because her teaching ability is very sub-par with DOE standards.

People said to relax, do her work, and you should be fine. From the moment I stepped into her class I felt that she was already biased, making very rude comments about them when saying their name. I think she's racists, but I can't tell for sure. She's very very biased and definitely has favorites. So far, I can see that she loves students who are very artistic. A tip to all you underclassmen, I would take U.S. history during the school year and PID and Modern hawaiian history in summer school.
