Mrs. Barrett is extremely intelligent when it comes to chemistry. After all, she worked as a chemist for a good portion of her life. Whatever prompted her to become a teacher is unclear, but I'm so glad she did. A lot of people complain that she's "too hard" but never do the homework (which takes 15-20 mins tops).. She teaches with a passion for science and will like you if you put in the time. She teaches fairly quickly - I wish more teachers did. One of the best teachers I've had yet.
treats her applied class like we're all stoner, slacker losers. Doesn't bother helping us cause apparently we're all dumb and cannot be helped. Very crabby often and claims we'll never get through college cause there' one class we're not good in.
A lot of people take the fact that Chemistry is hard out on her. I thought she was a good teacher and did well in the class. Some people just said she was hard because they didn't like doing the work,
Mrs. Barrett is very intelligent. She teaches her material well, and clearly. She is very organized with units, processes, and efficiency in solving problems. She is completely fair in her good, ye
Refuses to give homework answers if nobody participates. There are no easy ways to earn points anywhere, low 90s and 80s on lab grades are common for not following procedures exactly. Extremely intell
Yells at you when you don't know the answer so you stop answering...then she decides to stop teaching because "nobody cares about the class"
She is one of the best teachers i had at prep. People disliked her because she was difficult but honestly i thought it was a reasonable pace and it prepared for college extremely well.
I think some kids don't like her because chem is hard but honestly she's one of the best teachers I've ever had. She's a little shy but she really loves what she does.
Mrs. Barrett really cares... My only problem is that the other students in my class didn't care...they talked so darn much that she just stopped! Overall a good teacher if u pay attention nd do hw
Mrs. Barrett is very clear when it comes to her lectures. You should get along fine with her if you do all that you should (homework, etc.) or else her class will be excruciatingly hard.
She loves her homeroom which I was in Freshmen year yesss...has hands that are unaffected by intense heat...throws confetti while standing on her desk...and shows a hilarious video
