you have vocabulary tests, which are easy A's but her reading comprehension tests are very difficult. Each "short answer" question is about as long as the essay that follows, you have to be extremely detailed with your answers in order to get a high grade and you have to remember every single detail of the stories you read, from the name of the author to "what color was his shirt on page 3" its very tiresome but regardless, she makes you a more inferential, tasteful, reader.
She is one of the easiest teachers for sophomore English. People complain about her a lot but her class is not hard at all.
the school is in michigan lol
it was a rough start, but her class becomes manageable as you get used to it. honestly, people. i got a firm a at the end of the year so if you consistently did badly the whole year you probably weren't trying. her vocab tests were an easy grade boost.
Mrs. Hannett Price is an 80 year old teacher who teaches regular English for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Her class comprises of stories, grammar and vocabulary. As far as vocabulary and grammar goes, if you study for them, you can get A's, and it is easy for 100s on vocab. And then you have stories. In the first unit, you have a compilation of 14 short stories where you have to know the title, author, plot, setting, and theme, along with obscure symbols you have to be able to recall from..
Mrs beverly Hannet Price has been a teacher of mine ever since I was young. We often sat in her room talking about the fun and exciting times in her youth. She introduced me to her Virginity pin and soon after that I saw the true mrs Hannet. Comparing her to fifty shades of gray, I was often the submissive and she was always the dominant.
Mrs. Hannett is a very kind teacher and really inspires you to work harder. However, the quizzes she gives out are like tests and tests (besides vocab) are like finals. So if you are willing to take her course, make sure you do her assignments daily and carefully because the questions she asks on pop quizzes/quizzes/tests are extremely tough and take time to think. Overall, she is a very kind teacher with a passion of teaching other students in order for them to succeed.
I love Ms. Hannett and think her class is great but I fear her old age is interfering with her teaching. She once closed her eyes at her desk and I was conflicted whether or not to call an ambulance. May she go peacefully.
Nicest lady, but she is very strict.
Mrs. Hannett's class was difficult, but you could tell she was very passionate about what she was teaching!
I loved Mrs. Hannett. She was an amazing teacher that always pushed you to be a better student
She is wicked awesome!!! I love her so much! she makes English such a joy and everyone loves her. With age comes wisdom, but she is like the coolest teacher in the school!
challanging but EVERYONE LOVES BEV. she is my personal hero(ine). see! there's some of the hannett rub off right there!
We do the same things repeatedly. Read, take quizzes on pointless details instead of analyzing, memorize vocab, write a paper, repeat. She is pretty out of it most of the time. Time to retire...
I don't understand how people liked Mrs. Hannett. yes she loves what she does, but she makes you do a bunch of pointless busy work, and the way she grades is totally by whim!
Her class is pretty challenging, but shes the best teacher I've ever had. She is so enthusiastic and loves it when you do well. She loves teaching & really helps with SAT words.
Great attitude towards life/english. Helped with SAT words a lot.
Mrs. Hannett is the best. She is very nice, but her class can be challenging. I think she is the best English teacher in the school.
She just can't plan. Her assignment sheets are always wrong, and we didn't start The Scarlet Letter or Huckleberry Finn until the last month of school.
