He was the best teacher I ever had. He was a great man and always had good food to buy. He took us on an awesome field trip to Oregon for the shake spear festival. It was great. The class was super fun. Sorry to everyone who will never have him because he is now retired.
Easily the worst teacher I have ever had. He doesn't know how to teach and still uses material from 15 years ago. I've cried multiple times in his class and he hasn't cared what so ever. Told me all I need to do is "don't stress" OH WOW great advice. He gives too many assignements in too little time. My writing went from A's to C's because of him. Plays favorites and for those he doesn't like... HA good luck passing his class. So glad he's retiring
Bill he's a funny guy in Romeo in Juliet you'll read a summaruy of it, and he will give you on the test quotes from the play. Good guy, but more life skills teacher
He is a horrible teacher. You will never learn anything from his class and yet he will still think he is the best teacher in the school.
....I try to oppress those memories. He was unclear with his homework assignments, refusing to apply any rules, (with the excuse that he desired 'creativity' when I'm sure it was more of 'I don't fee
I know a lot of people who really didn't like him, but I really did. (Then I had Goldhammer and I didn't like him as much.) But at the time, I LOVED Mr. Dillon, and the trip to Ashland is totally wort
Spends more time wanting to be liked by students and staff than actually focus on education. Spent countless days telling stories than aiding students with problems about homework and such. Not that g
My child has come home several times on the verge of tears because of his unfair teaching and grading habits. He gives an unnecesary amount of work and unachievable goals. Degrades students confidence
I always asked for help from my friends instead of him, he made me feel really uncomfortable.
Plays major favorites. Often strays from the subject and his class is focused inappropriatly. The little writing in the class can easily be scrounged together in mere minutes and being vague is viewed
High standards, but if you are willing to work hard, you will learn how to think and how to write. Genuinely cares about teaching and his students. Good guy.
He means well, but honestly, I went to LAH 10 completetly unprepared. He likes such a particular writing style that my usually A and B work got C's. He likes you to BS your way through your writing.
He teaches how to make your writing sound good when really, once interpreted, your writing is saying absolutely nothing. I completely lost my writing style because I tried to sound "philosophical."
he's pretty legit. just do your work for yourself and work on learning on your own. dont expect to be told everything. you need to use your own mind at points.
He is a good teacher, I learned a lot from him. As long as you interact with him and your fellow students you will be fine in his class. He loves it when you ask questions!
He has his heart in the right place, Just needs to learn how to interact with students better.
He teaches useful things and values hard work. I think he was a great teacher.
He teaches time management skills, but class is a waste... basically you can look forward to doing nothing in there unless there's a test. Lots of questionable jokes...
Dillon talks about students' personal lives in front of the class, and appropriates disrespect that the high schools tries to oppress by making fun at various students. He should be fired.
If he likes the class then you can get away with anything and he'll give you answers, if he doesn't like the class he's quite different.
Mr. Dillon's teaching style is fun and it always keeps me awake and alert. I look forward to his class every day and I am really happy to be in it.
There are some days you could get away with anything and others he acts like he has never known you. Very tempermental. Be careful.
