You learn as much as you put into the class. If you aren't interested he won't make you do anything. This translates well to a college setting and makes one accountable in caring about responsibility.
Possibly the best teacher I've ever had. Hilarious, fun, intelligent, motivated, flexible (but not too much), helpful, and fairly easy to follow.
Dimon is the rock-your-socks type. He doesn't favor anyone and everyone can have a grand-old time in his class. Unfortunately, that can also translate to "nothing gets done".
I had him two years ago and he had a great desire for teaching and also was a cool guy just to sit and talk to. IDK what he's like now but I was prepared for the next years class.
I agree, he just wants to have fun, waste time, I thought that was cool until I was way behind the next year in my English class. What did I learn from Dimon? How to waste time.
Far more interested in being a friend than a teacher.
He is one of the coolest teachers I have ever had. I never really learned much but he is one funny SOB.
This teacher is more about being popular than being good.
Dimon is a great teacher and person. Watch out for the tests/quizzes b/c they are weighted so much. You can get away with almost anything in that class!
