Hands down the best teacher I ever had. Even my parents liked him and they didn't like andy of my teachers. He teaches exactly like collage professors.
Mr. Johnson is one of my favorite teachers of all time! His teaching style is more like that of a college professor.
Although everyone raved about Mr. Johnson, I didn't find him that stellar. He's great and he does care, but he still picks favorites and can be boring sometimes. Good class, but not the best ever.
I graduated in '96 and still love Shakespeare thanks to Mr. Johnson! I hope he is still teaching. And for all the students worried about the AP... don't .. life is too short to not enjoy cool people
He was my absolute favorite teacher in high school. Extremely nice, understanding, and hilarious. He is great at teaching, but also teaches you about life. Try and get him at all costs.
Mr. Johnson is a great person. He makes you want to come to class. I agree that he doesnt give too much AP test preperation, but in the end, if you actually try, even a little bit, you will do well on the AP. Even if you don't learn about the AP test, you learn a lot more important things...
pretty cool guy, although not as amazing as he is thought to be
basically, I didn't learn anything. Most people aren't even taking the AP test because they know they'll fail. He likes to hear himself talk. a lot.
Mr. Johnson is the greatest teacher in the school. Who cares about the AP test or learning, it's nice to have a teacher that actually cares about every single person he teaches.
Mr. Johnson is possibly the only teacher at Athens who was able to make me understand Hamlet. He rocks!
I had this teacher fifteen years ago and he was my favorite at Athens. I am a teacher now because of him. Those "life lessons" will help you more in the long run than grades.
Seemed nice, but no AP prep @ all. Would have been better off taking regular l.a. and then taking ap test. and yes, high school is about the grades
nice guy but didn't learn anything in the english department. definitely not a good prep for college.
Totally overrated. He did not prepare us for the AP test. Rarely actually taught english. Felt the need to teach "life lessons" more than english. Awful
