He's the man. Homeroom and First period with him were awesome. Defninutely one of my favorite teachers of freshman year...
He literally measured the margins on my GREEF essay...
What to say about ya boy Billy. If you procrastinate on the notes/notecards/projects, you will die. If you don't study for a good hour or so on the test, you will probably die. If you rely on him at all, you will die. Don't expect to have him help you with anything, you'll have to do everything yourself. He loves his GREEF project (Which has nothing to do with the class) and loves to give tests on things you've never talked about before. Overall, if you actually try you'll get an A. (Honors)
WHAT A GUY! Literally WHAT A GUY!
McClelland is a great guy, despite what these others reviews may say. His class is super easy (as long as you keep up to date with your projects). He likes to joke around a lot, which is generally pretty fun. If you are an independent learner, you'll have no trouble at all. Keep in mind, though, procrastinating in this class will be the death of you. We've got way too many projects that are very time consuming, so get it done and get it done fast.
This man is something I say. I mean like yea we joke around and chat but does he teach no. Do we learn anything no, if you want to learn anything for his test read the book. Also he tries to make jokes all the time, like no sir those we not funny at all. Also, we do people even think you are scary, all you are is a lot of project giving human. Thanks for your Service.
Not a fun class. Way to much work. Do not take this class.
Nice guy who likes to make jokes. Fine with jokes when you actually teach the class. We do nothing but take notes (20+ pages) or do 200+ notecards. His tests are on material he doesn't even cover, and they are so often and such high point value. We also do a huge paper that has literally nothing to do with the class. Awful teacher, and most certainly should never be able to teach an honors class. YOU HAVE TO TEACH FOR PEOPLE TO LEARN. Worst teacher I've ever had. SWITCH CLASSES.
Mr. McClelland has a great personality he makes jokes and seems really nice which is great and all except for the fact that he doesn't actually teach, and all he asks us to do is read at home and make notes on it, and in school he talks about the most randomest things or things that barely relate to the topic or most likely his personal life and his stories from earlier before he started teaching.
has he ever heard of actually teaching the lesson, all we do is make notes and flashcards, and he talks about how perfect he is in class. We haven't done anything in class, we had to learn everything by ourselves and at home.
He is a great person with his personality, but I would like for us to read together as a class and do worksheets so we can know the content better than just reading the book at home and taking notes on it. then in class he just talks. This is harder for me to prepare for the test and essays that we do because I do not understand the Information and makes me learn the information when I study because he does not teach well. It's like I'm teaching the content myself with no help from him.
Mr. McClelland is such a cool teacher! He welcomes everyone and tries to make jokes to make his students laugh :) He is awesome and his personality is great!!
I did not do so well in his class due to little effort shown by myself. Also, did not really enjoy him as a teacher personally. He sometimes had a few good days where he was friendly, but mostly was very intimidating and a bit rude. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE which can come across as highly annoying. He always could prove everything you said wrong or improve your answer. Tough grader, also.
Mr. McClelland is a really nice teacher. He is VERY knowledgeable on the subject that he teaches, American History, and is very clear on what he wants on projects, assignments, et cetera. His test and quizzes are mildly hard.
Don't know why everyone likes him so much. Pretty arrogant, a bit annoying. Didn't really enjoy his class.
I served Cafeteria detention with him and we played chess the whole time, so it wasn't that bad. I heard he's a great teach, too.
good teacher. good online reviews. and i just loved when his voice squeeked!
Mr. Mac is soo awesome. I love his online reviews before tests it helps so much. He makes class so interesting because he's such a cool and funny guy!
