Dr. Balcer has to be one of my favorite teachers. In our A.P. English class, Dr. Balcer would allow us to talk about poetry as much or as little as we wanted. When we were done analyzing a poem, we simply moved on and didn't keep analyzing it. After our A.P. exam, Dr. Balcer allowed us to watch videos. She is very easy to talk to if you have a problem or issue. Her tests are difficult and the in class essays are vexing; however, she grades harder than the A.P. examiners.

Mrs. Balcer is one of the sweetest teachers you could ever have at the Mount. She is always upbeat and absolutely loves the students. She will always be willing to help you if you ask.
