i had her up until my senior year (by which i want to relax so i dropped latin 4). def the best teacher east had next to mr. brandreth. she is truly passionate about teaching the language, and is extremely knowledgable of latin. granted, her people skills werent the greatest, but if you put in the effort, she would have given you a much easier time.
Good thing she retired or else you'd be learning Latin in agony. The whole year was painstaking.
She's a good teacher, but lacks people skills. She doesn't know how to talk to her students, but yeah, she can teach. Just memorize and do lots of class participation and you'll be fine.
It seems that you either love or hate her. Just know your stuff and act like Latin is the best language ever, and you will have no trouble whatsoever.
simple and easy class..the teacher is another story...oo fordy.
dr ford is a really good teacher. she cares sooo much about her students and really wants them to do good. she is available for extra help everyday, and really wants to help everyone that is having trouble. she would do anything for her students. also her projects are very open to your imagination. she will just give you one requirement and then you can do whatever you want with it.
Dr. Ford is one of the best teachers at East. She really knows her stuff, and conveys what she knows quite well. She is always ready to help anyone (albeit after school sometimes). She is not married, and her students are very important to her. She teaches very well, but you DO have to memorize the vocab in order to succeed. Compared to Spanish and French, Latin is super-easy. -BONA FORTUNA-
shes good at teaching n erything i dissapoint her by not doin nething heh but datll change soon ....
Look out. Cna be super nice but she can sprout horns quickly
She understands our probems tries her best to help us nt fail which is inevtable
