I had Eck as a study hall teacher for two years (Junior year 2001-2002 and Senior year 2002-2003). I went through a lot of very difficult experiences in my personal life during my high school years.Eckhart really made an effort to get to know me and to connect with me every school day.He checked in with me, to up my self esteem self confidence. He truly cared about me and about my well being. He recently contacted me to check in on me to hear what I've been up to, 14 years later. He is awesome
I love Mr Eckhart, no matter what he will always be one of my two fav teachers! he taught me so much!
Eckhart is "Mr. Cool" - sometimes he tries to be too hip and is overly sarcastic but for the most part he makes the class interesting and knows what he is talking about. overall, he's pretty good.
He's funny, sociable and popular but doesn't teach all that much. I basically learned it on my own from the textbook.
He is a really nice guy who obviously enjoys his job. He knows a lot about what he is teaching. He does give you tests that are very objective and much harder than what you had been doing in class.
nice, funny guy. always there to talk or listen, even if it's not about class work. smart man. it's a shame that he gets so off topic, it gets very confusing
eckhart you rock-nobody knows and nobody cares. remember me?
Eck is an awesome teacher, though he gets off topic really easily and tries to be one of the kids too often. sometimes i feel as if im not learning anything...
Eckhart can teach well, it's just that he gets off topic very easily. He has some sort of obsession with Nationalism... but he's always around to have a laugh.
this class is extremely easy -- just remember to read the book before the test, don't ever just rely on your notes -- EVERYTHING you need to know is in the book
Eckhart is a nice man but a poor teacher, a good teacher isn't just one who jokes around and teaches at his leisure.
