I have to admit, I didn't like Ogata's class AT ALL early in the year. He was an awkward robot and seemed to teach only out of the book. I later came to the realization that he actually does care about every student and tries to help you as best as he can. If you're struggling in his class, don't be afraid to ask for help! Though his class was a snoozefest, I did learn a lot. I'd trade him for Basoglu anyday...
he just writes out notes in the packet but never explains anything and his tests are rediculous because they are so hard and he gives huge point totals and all questions are worth the same. for instan
His expectations are ridiculous. He thinks we will be heading to college after 9th grade. He thought we should form study groups in 9th grade.
Ogata was not a forgiving teacher. Never smiled, very strict and uptight. The tests were very difficult as well.
BroGada is very boring and I'm tired of the same thing over and over again in class
He's so fair to his students. Notes are fantastic and really helps you prepare for tests. Grades fairly and have an immense collection of stamps. :)
mr ogata is a really fair teacher. he understands that kids a lot of times have conflicts with their scheduel and is willing to extend due dates. he also is always avaliable for extra help andis clear
Super nice, really involved teacher who cares about his students.
needs to let students retake tests or offer extra credit or something! iv'e never had such bad grades either
Mr. Ogata is my favorite teacher! I love his class, it's the first time I have actually goten a decent grade in math.
I dont like him... very weird and not a good teacher. His student teacher is better than him
he has a favorite class and he says that we steel the class set of books, but he is really the one keeping them from us. then we have to bring the bokks from home and it kills or backs.
Ogata is the meanest teacher. He has ONE favorite in the class. And the rest he ignores, including me! He gives notes after class which doesn't help at all and you need to learn math on your own to pass tests and quizzes. You will always get at least 1-3 hours of hw and will always have at least one quiz or test a week! He doesn't like helping you if you have a problem and he makes you feel stup
even though i dont like the fact that we take notes on the section AFTER we do the homework, your still awesome. ease off on the hw though, ok? we have other subjects too.
mr. ogata is really nice and explains the problem if you do not get it. He is also very nice, and does not judge you just becuase you are not popular. he is my favorite teacher!
YEA OG!!!! You are one of my favorite teachers of all time! Thanks a lot!
He is an excellent teacher who helps many diverse students who have trouble in math from Integrated 1 students to Extended students.
