He has a slightly different teaching style than most other teachers, but he's very passionate about teaching. The kids who don't do much work and slack off/mess and round in class dislike him because he (shocker...) wants them to be more engaged and always encourages us to go that encourages us to go that extra step and know not just what it is, but why its important and the thoughts/perspective of those involved. Would be very fortunate if my children had him as their teacher when I older.
my least favorite teacher. had him two years ago and yes i learned a lot, but he was so mean and strict and really didnt like me. he had favorites too. im sorry if you have him now lol hes crazy
my god, he was probably the worst teacher i have ever had. Extremely disorganized, went into our homework time with long lectures, never gave specific info and rules, and picked on many people. Most people might think hes great, but i had a dreadful year. So sorry if you get him. He also never graded anything which was frustrating. We would do essays and projects, and find out four months later he hadn't graded anything since january. Good luck.
Mr. Williams is by far my most informative and favorite teacher. Many students complain over how the work is 'hard,' but those are the kids who don't want to participate or who don't listen in class. He is really nice and definitely expects the most out of every one of his students. Mr. Williams is said to be a hard, strict teacher, but he just wants his students to reach their full potential. He is definitely one of my favorite teachers I have ever had!
OMG MR. WILLIAMS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! I was lucky enough to have Mr. Williams 1 out of my 2 years at dno and I really wished I had him both years!! His teaching style is a but strange, and he is a bit strange, but oh my, I loved his class, never a boring day!!!
Have him this year, and am hoping to have him for 8th grade, also. Mr. Williams is humorous and will go through all the required leg work and more just to make us understand his (somewhat bad, but enjoyable) puns. He's full of jokes, I've never been to one of his classes before where he didn't make his student's not smile. Awesome teacher, one of my favorites at Diegueno.
Mr.Williams will be a teacher that you will remember for the rest of your life! And that's not a bad thing! Mr.Williams is a very smart, kind, any funny teacher. He cares so much about his students, and if they like his classes or not. If you are in his class, at first, you will be scared out of your freaking mind, but then as you get into the year, you realize that's he is all bite and no bark, it just is his teaching style and add to the fun! I will remember his teaching forever! He is great!
Mr.Williams is a super cool teacher, he is funny, and he really knows his history! But, ALERT; he can be very mean, in other words, sometimes, you wanna slap him.
Mr. Williams is an amazing teacher. He is definitely my favorite teacher at Diegueno. His classes are never boring, and his teaching style is unique. He may be intimidating at first, but it's just a part of his teaching style. He cares a lot about his students, and tries his best at what he does. Unlike many other classes, I can remember his past lessons quite clearly. He also always asks for his students' opinions before he makes a decision; his students are always getting involved.
I loved Mr. Williams. His classes were entertaining as heck and he was really into history unlike many other teachers. Too bad he left CVMS :(
I took his class three years ago now at cvs. He was by far my favorite teacher of all of middle school. Although he may be intimidating, (I still remember the trauma from the first day) there is a purpose to it. HE literally scares the material into you. You either pay attention, or get stuff thrown at you and you may fail. He tends to pick on students he likes which isn't all that bad. To day, I still remember his lectures ( thats how good a teacher he is) And am currently in AP world at CCA.
It has been 3 years since I have taken his class, but I had such an amazing time that I feel like I need to say something now. I'm currently in AP World History at CCA, and taking Mr. Williams class made me want to take this class. He's a great teacher, and even though he may seem a little crazy or scary, he was my favorite teacher. I was sad to hear that he left CVMS but, Digueno should treasure him as a teacher. I hope to see him again someday.
