I had Gasser a few years back. His class is the only class I can still retain information from. He's a great teacher and a great guy. He is always willing to help. If your class is quiet and you guys don't make jokes with him then it'll be boring. If the students are upbeat and happy then he will be as well. He's easy going and follows the state guidelines so the exams are pretty much repeated questions.

This so called "Dr." is ridiculous. I can honestly say he's more worried about 'fitting in' with the kids than teaching them physics. Determining whether to call it a test or quiz AFTER he gives them the so called test/quiz is ludicrous. My child is in his regular physics class, not honors, but you would never know it. I would HIGHLY recommend you ask for another teacher for physics...sadly most of them are horrible starting from the department head on down. :-(

He's a weird man with a weird teaching style that is anything but helpful. I often feel uncomfortable and struggling both physically and mentally in his joke of a class

Great man, passionate about physics...but loves to drink coke, salads and graham crackers. Comes off as a really hard teacher, neurotic and imposing but as you understand his methods and personality you come to appreciate his teachings and character. Physics is difficult but 1 on 1 extra help does wonders.

Gasser was the reason I hated IB Physics. He may be a nice guy but he can't teach topics in any other words than his own and usually gets the concept wrong. I had to go to other teachers in order to learn the material properly. Tests are impossible despite going to extra help multiple times and for hours. I survived IB Physics but barely due to him.

Pretty weird guy, which is sometimes funny and sometimes downright rediculous. His tests are waaaaay harder than the material he teaches in class, and I stay up all night sometimes studying for physics. It's not worth it.

Really odd, total d-bag , but in a good way, incredibly funny, manages to get the work done while finding time to joke around.

IB Physics wasn't easy, but I did well enough. I can't imagine a teacher making physics easy, just go to class and do your work. You could say he's a little strange, but not really in a bad way, he's nice.
