Mr. K is a brilliant teacher. He is able to find the way each student learns most efficiently and caters to their learning style.
I took Mr. Kataoka's course in the late 1980' and he was hard but awesome. I also loved his "thought for the day." I went on become a college professor and find myself employing his teaching style from time to time. He was one of my favorite and most memorable teachers.
I graduated in '82 and Mr. K was hands down my Favorite!! I loved math, so it made it even more enjoyable to be taught by a great teacher. Look me up on FB. Patricia Otting.
I graduated in 1995. He was great then and I still watch him on tv now. I kept my semester notebooks we had to do. To this day I use the notebook technique for so many things that are important.
Strongly recommended. Best teacher in high school. Teaches surprisingly practical applications of math. Shares insightful anecdotes, helpful hints, & knows what is important to high school students.
The best math teacher hands down. You have to come to class, take notes, and do homework to do well, but is worth it
Does help you learn how to take good notes but goes too fast 7 test/mid term/ and final lets you use notes on final but its a TRAP! Belittles other teachers& will do the same to u!
tries to make you think hes the best teacher in the world he spends more time talking about random things than math but he makes you learn how to take good note
