SO UNDERRATED! Had him freshman year and everyone around him seemed to despise him, but not me. I honestly appreciated the knowledge he had to offer and he was very funny too! He never knew when to stop when it came to jokes cause all I did was laugh my buttocks off! He also privileged us with his band, letting us listen to the Beethoven-like harmonies that soothed my ears every time he hit that snare. Oh my, wasn't he the greatest. Honestly, I yearn to be just like him!

Quite frankly the worst teacher I have ever had. His tests are very vague, often giving multiple choice questions that have MULTIPLE correct answers within the choices but only chooses one that's correct. Total BS. He is also very vague, his lectures and assignments were not very clear for the most part and I honestly learned nothing in World History until he left. Now, I actually know about history. Nice guy, bad teacher. Also goes off on rants about super small, pointless things.

Mr. Kent is a very smart and has the potential to be a great teacher, but he lets a few bad kids easily. in his way. 2nd period tends to not get involved, aside from a couple of kids. In November he told us, with a sneer on his face, that he was done with us and that we don't respect him so he won't respect us. We no longer get taught the same way that the other periods do. I believe that he's given up on us, which is unacceptable behavior for a teacher, even if the class isn't good.

Mr. Kent is an absolutely terrible teacher. His tests come from questions out of his own textbook (and blank maps), which does not match the students' textbooks, and the notes don't match either textbook. His tests are very unfair, as well as graded in a heinous way. He once told my class "both a and c are correct, but a is more correct. So on a test, pick a, but know that c is also correct. A is just more correct."

I had him freshman year and it was not a pleasant experience. He didn't grade fairly and obviously played favorites. I worked really hard in his class only for him to tell me I was a waste of space.

Despite popular belief, Mr Kent is a great teacher...way too smart for a freshman students understanding. I realized this my senior year, utilize his intelligence while you have the opportunity.
