I had Miss Burnett in freshman year and I hated her! But really only because she hated me, and all of the other kids in the class. She was really mean to everyone and just seemed like she wasn't enjoying being a teacher. She was also just kind of weird and nonsensical at times. She was obviously very enthusiastic about English but she really wasn't able to make me feel the same way.😕
Honestly Ms.Burnet used to be OK, and I understand how people used to feel about her but this year she's very different! She is much nicer and seems happier and she is very forgiving. She is SO knowledgeable on the content she teaches and she answers questions very clearly. She really knows her stuff and is very helpful if you ask her for help. She only seems to dislike kids who don't care at all and don't try at their work but who wouldn't??
She is just an overall confusing choice for any position in education
She's a really good english teacher. You can really tell that she's really into what she teaches. She has her ups and downs throughout the day, but thats because the kids in my class are lazy.. if you put in the effort, you'll get an A. Only problem is that her grading can be a bit iffy sometimes. But she's a very smart teacher who enjoys to discuss during our class.
Ms Burnet is the worst English teacher I've ever had. She refuses to adapt to make anything easier on the students' end, constantly underestimates the intelligence of her honors class, and makes a subject I usually enjoy my most dreaded class of the day. Her inflexibility makes her class boring and frustrating. She is constantly shooting down the ideas of students when they do not align with hers, nitpick a everything you write for errors, and refuses to listen to input.
She gives out to much hw and she wants everything done her way or she will fail you also she dissects all ur assignments looking for points to take off
she's actually really nice if you behave in her class. stop acting so obnoxious towards her and you'll have nothing to complain about
She is a good teacher but most people are too lazy to put in the work. Her class is the first English class ive learned anything in for years. Just be respectful and ask for help outside of class.
she is the hardest teacher i have ever had in my entire life!
She disliked me because I am lazy and turned everything in at the last moment. She doesnt know what she is doing and you learn nothing. it seems like your're learning stuff, but youre greatly mistaken
KIds are scared of her. Not nice. Big homework load, even on nights where school bans homework. Nothing enjoyable. Does not directly communicate grades.
well...i basically hate her...cuz she makes you do EVERTHING her own way...if she doesnt like it....your screwed...i used to do AWESOME in english...she screwed everything up..
had her in past...she tells the class to an assignment one way....then will change her mind later on ...and tell the class to do it another way..frustrating..and it wasn't just me.
Anybody who has the inside scoop transfers out of her class as quickly as possible, making room for a new batch of "victims."
She's a stickler, and some of the stuff doesn't even make sense. She turns kids off from English, which is too bad because it used to be my favorite subject.
she's really not that bad, just work as hard as you can, she's a picky lady that's for sure but she taught me so much last year, she really does know her stuff
i hate her and is the worst teach i ever had.... thats not much though, since its coming from a freshmen, lol(i hope)
very sweet. y'all just dont work very hard. has a LOT to teach, if you delinquents would just pay attention.
you'll prolly get a low C if you come from Tilden or N B. she makes you a betr writr, but at the expense of a good grade. It takes a while to get used 2 her
