I learned a lot in Mrs Griagas' class. However I was most successful when I reviewed my notes at home before the next class. There is a lot of material to cover for geometry accelerated, and sometimes it seems as though she is going so fast that some students are left in the dust. I definitely suggest studying a lot for the tests, they are challenging and a large portion of your grade.
Truly an unpleasant person. She is very cliquish and actually a bully to some students. Avoid her whenever possible, she is not someone I would ever want to have the misfortune to meet again.
STRONGLY resembles professor Umbridge from the 5th harry potter book, voice, evil hidden behind a seemingly innocent face, and hates me (i guess im harry) FOR NO REASON. She was checking hw and i was missing the last 2 problems so she gave me a 2/3 then she graded the girl behind me who was missing the same problems AND GAVE HER A 2.5!!!! Evil teacher, do not suggest.
Mrs. Grigas is a very helpful teacher who is always nice and welcoming.
Mrs. Grigas can at times rush through new material (it is an accelerated class though) and spend way too much time on things that we have learned in middle school already, but she is a great person, an overall fun teacher. Class atmosphere is very quiet but she leaves a lot of time for questions and often goes over homework problems and stresses what will be on the test.
Strict, mean and a "meh" teacher, did not enjoy that year of geometry.
really very nice if you try to stay on her good side and show up for class, do homework, ask for help and overall show general interest. She's a teacher ok, she likes students that work hard. Chances are if you express lazyness, she won't like you, and she won't hide it.
Shes very hard... Shes good enough as a teacher... She is willing to help you and a half... she really is willing to help...
She loves math, and she is a great teacher. Her class is hard, but if you do your work and pay attention it's not bad. I like her as a person as well, I think she is nice and interested.
I think she's disrespected way too much. Give her break, she's doing the best she can. A lot of the work I have to figure out on my own, but she's always been really nice to me and I hate how students are so mean to her
she was pretty good for me. a lot of my friends told me they hated her but i thought she was very helpful and informative. :)
She is a wonderful teacher and I really miss her this year (especially that I have Mattoon) Now that she is not my teacher she is a good friend :)
Well, I didn't really learn much from her. It's like she picks the hardest ways to do things.
shes enthusiastic, maybe too much so. she makes too many mistakes and shes not a great teacher. shes really eager to give extra help though which is good.
She's a very nice person, but her hand writing isn't too good. She is not a very good teacher, but that may just be me. Its hard staying awake when you have Block 1 math... not an easy teacher imo.
makes a LOT of mistakes, the students shouldn't have to correct the teacher. gets too overexcited about the subject, is very quick to give out detentions. not very tolerant
She's a good teacher and very helpful, but teaches a little to fast.
she teaches sooo fast and i don't understand anything in that class i want miss stone back!
She's really nice, and really cool...she makes class a lotta fun..cept that its sooo easy i fall asleep practicly
shes good and is fair to all the kids tho she talks to us like we're 3 but she will come in anytime u need extra help
AHHHH I hate her! She doesnt know how to teach at all. She's the one that needs to go back to school and learn the stuff that she is trying to teach us.
needs to take lessons from the best math teacher... mrs. favata
