My last class in high school was Spanish 4 with Mrs. Granz back in 1984. Many things have changed since then but apparently not the difficulty of her class! Her approach always kept me engaged and challenged, but also entertained. I emailed her a couple of years ago and she remembered me for a guitar performance in her class. It was nice to know I made a lifelong impression on her much the way she did on me. I congratulate her on her retirement and wish her the very best. Sincerely, "La Guitarrista".

When I had her I never appreciated what a great teacher she was. She scared me so much but I learned so much. Luckily, she thought my complete and total fear of her and the class was entertaining...so she liked me and I even got an A one quarter! Her class was scary and boring, but I learned ALOT... I'm not sure my agnst was entirely worth it though. I would literally get horrible stomach aches during every oral. I even threw up once.

Mrs.Granz can be nice (sometimes) but she seems to stare right through you with this scary glance that absolutely terrifies me half the time. I feel like the rabbit that is caught in the headlights of the car before it gets run over. Scared to death. She also gives no time for students to finish work, turn it in, or study. I think that the yoga sessions are a little bit too much also.

Senora Granz genuinely cares about teaching her students Spanish. She is pretty nice if you respect her and actually try in her class, which is not actually that hard if you do the homework and learn the preguntas. Her class is very formulaic, which makes it a little dull at times (esp. block days) but the activities are generally fun and helpful. If you actually want to learn something, take Sra. Granz. I hope the rumors are not true and she's staying, it would be a total shame if she retires.

Although she can be very strict and intimidating, I am very happy I stayed in this class, she is an a mazing teacher. If you try you will learn so much in this class, and when you finally get Mr. Spitler as a teacher you will feel so smart because you will have remembered everything from her class.

Ugh. Her class was so frustrating. She was mean, cold and unforgiving. She claimed that to get respect you can't be friends with your students. I respect my kind (and good) teachers way more.

Senora Granz is awesome!! I actually have fun in her class. If she does yell at you in Spanish, and you don't understand, well, it's called studying.

The major reason so many people are failing Spanish 2 is because they refuse to study. People need to take some responsibility and not blame it on the techer
