Mrs. L's class was life-changing. I never had a better teacher.
She is agreat teacher who will take you in completely new directions. Taking her AP class is about the best thing you can do in high school as she will make those tests a breeze.
Definitely a tough teacher, but she's an extremely kind person who'll go out of her way to help. Haven't had her her for a full year yet, however.
Amazing woman. Pay attention to what she says about criticism! It comes in handy for all disciplines. College is a breeze after Longhenry--Carol *and* John.
She stirs the intellect and opens the mind like no other teacher I have ever experienced; she teaches the students to think for themselves and about the interconnectedness of all things. I'd marry her
I am currently in Mrs. Longhenry's class, and I have to say that the class opens up my eyes. I didn't take her my junior year, and I wish I had. She has opened my mind to different ways of thinking.
Mrs. Longhenry is an amazing and wonderful teacher who challenges her students to think deeply and diversely. I would go back and take her class agian.
Probably my favorite high school teacher. Amazing, and yes, she was THOUROUGH, which is what was needed. She raised the bar, something some couldn't handle. I loved her.
She wasted days going over meaningless symbolism (the meaning of the letter A in the scarlet letter for 2 days). I'm a teacher now so I know even better how ineffective she was.
from a college student who went through 12 yrs of the academy:from Harvard to ISU, professors say we are the most prepapared english students they've ever seen
Ridiculously unclear and unhelpful, but, then I am a guy, which makes me the devil. Right, Jabba?
I don't know what you all were thinking. Longhenry a good teacher? Maybe that would be true if you considered Floming to be average. This must be a joke.
not too bad for an english teacher, better than floming...but english is still pointless
I just don't know about her. She hated me, she loved me. It seemed like grades were abitrary to her, which is ok if you're learning, but not ok for COLLEGES..
