Mrs. Carlson is a teacher who you cannot judge on the same scale as most other teachers. When you're in orchestra, you feel like you're away from high school and somewhere more private and that's the way she treats her students. Sometimes this CAN be bad because she forgets her students are all typical teenagers and have other classes, but for the most part she knows her stuff and she wants people to find the passion similar to her own. Don't take her TOO seriously and have fun! It's orchestra!

Gotta love her! She's a tad crazy (understatement) but what good musician isn't? She is extremely knowledgable and very helpful, but she's batty and doesn't always know how to convey what she's trying to say. But she's extremely nice and fun.
