[part 3] to admit that her teaching style (specifically her thesis statement scaffold) SUCKS!
[part 2] 15 students and I would often have to go to other English teachers for essay help and help interpreting the novels she as-signed because she's too busy watching youtube videos or reading other nonacademic related articles on her computer to actually teach the clss. All she does is a-ssign extensive "busy-work" to fill up the 52 minutes of clss time, and packs on hours of homework unrelated to what we're supposed to be studying. Even all the other English teachers aren't afraid to admit
She is easy and distracted all of the time but you do learn some things that you didnt even realize at the time.
She doesn't teach. Every day, she has no lesson plans nor does she go over anything we have read. She assumes we understand and gets frustrated when we don't since we are not given specific and concrete goals and ideas to focus on.
She's not the best teacher on the planet but she is a great person. It's easy to do well in her class.
An extremely disappointing AP class. Most days we sat in groups with assinine questions we rarely ever got the answers to. A nice person, but needs to get off of her computer sometime and teach.
First off, this class is SO MUCH FUN and Cronin is HILARIOUS. But honestly, I don't really feel like I learned anything in AP Lit. Its an easy and fun class, but not too informative. Mostly test prep.
She is funny and nice but she still keeps your attention. But beware the wand!
Very cool, keeps me paying attention in class... that's the way, keep us in check. haha
