I had Ms. Schellhous for two years, and although her love and passion for literature is evident, she is often unclear, and does not prepare you well for tests and exams. Her classes can be enjoyable but in the end, stressful.
Unlike most, I was not a fan of Ms. Schellhous's English II Honors class. Although it was easy, it was very scattered and disorganized. Additionally, Ms. Schellhous is not very receptive to the literary insights of students. If she hasn't noticed a detail you bring up in class, she will disregard your opinion.
The best teacher I had at Ursuline. I still email asking her for help with English papers three years after graduating. I absolutely recommend her to any student and could not say enough great things about her
I'm not sure I love her personality, but take AmStud. It's hands down the best course at UA.
I don't really care for her. I sleep in her class and still manage an A so if you're decent at English, I recommend taking this course.
I consider Ms. Schellhous one of my mentors. Her influence and guidance through my formative high school years is something that shaped me to become who I am today.
dissects novels, especially jd salinger better than any teacher i've ever had. i thoroughly enjoyed her english II hnrs class
a class that really makes you think. one of the best teachers i've had.
