I took AP Chem with Mrs. Stordeur many years ago. The course is very important for college/life, so stick with it! While Mrs. Stordeur can sometimes be confusing while teaching in front of the class, she is very knowledgeable. The best way to do well in AP Chem is to read the textbook a lot on your own, and supplement her lectures with self-teaching. That way the materials she covers in class are more of a review than hearing it for the first time. That's how I got a 5 on the AP test!

Very bad teacher. Too lazy to get up and teach the class and wonders why everyone fails the tests. Broke a beaker once and she didn't even look up to see if everybody was ok and I didn't know what to do with it. That pretty much made me dislike her.

Her class is rather easy, but I really can't stand her. She is not helpful and not clear AT ALL on some things.

She cares about both her students and the subject very much, what more could you ask for. You'd better be willing to learn something though, or save her the trouble.

WORST TEACHER AT HANFORD. I am almost a straight A student. She manages to give me a C somehow even though I do the work and ace tests. GET PALMER!

She's a great person, but in her class you have to teach yourself chemistry. Sure, you'll get an A in the class, but the AP test is another story.
