Charlie Milgrim was one of the teachers in my life that really encouraged me to pursue the fine arts after high school and actually helped me win a scholarship to pay for school. She is also apart of the larger art community in the bay area and regularly exhibits work so she is extremely knowledgable and connected into what is actually happening in contemporary art. If you're a student who wants to be apart of the art world she has wonderful connections and helpful advice. I recommend her class
Ms. Milgrim is way out there, but that's what makes her unique. I loved her class and her wacky ethics.
If you are not very good at Art and struggle very much with it, Heed my warning do NOT take this class she will criticize your work lots of times and probably try to fail you.
what is it with her and drawing on your project in purple. she always screws with your work, and its ALWAYS in purple. then when she grades she criticizes your pile of purple rocks or whatever
Ms. Milgrim is cool at times, but she kinda exaggerates about things. I like her, she's funny sometimes. But she grades kinda hard
i think shes pretty cool at times, but shes either very emotional and like makes a huge deal out of something small or shes always changing her mind..
Her class is easy but come on, it's art. She's not clear and flip-flops on her opinions.
